They presented the plan to the City's Human Resources Committee Monday night where it was approved.

All the animals at Ochsner Park Zoo are safe and were not hurt in a Tuesday morning fire that destroyed the building where their donkeys, llamas, and wolves are housed, zoo staff confirmed.

A woman died in an overnight duplex fire in Baraboo, according to Baraboo Police Captain Rob Sinden.
The victim is not being identified at this time. Authorities also recovered a deceased dog.

Baraboo officials are investigating a late night fire at a duplex that fully engulfed half of the building in flames.
The Baraboo Police Dept. says officials responded to the fire at the Southeast corner of 4th and Barker streets in the City of Baraboo around 10:33 p.m. Sunday night.

According to a post from the Professional Fire Fighters of Wisconsin, Milwaukee Fire Department Battalion Chief Sean Slowey passed away Saturday, Dec. 11 from job-related brain cancer.
Reports show that Slowey served as a firefighter for 40 years.

Firefighters battled a fire Thursday night at a recycling business on the city's north side.
Fire crews responding around 8:30 p.m. to Quincy Recycling, 701 Bay Beach Road, found heavy smoke coming from the back of the building, according to the Green Bay Metro Fire Department.

A man was flown to a hospital by helicopter ambulance Wednesday after falling off a ladder while working on a roof at a Union Grove restaurant, officials said.

A 40-year-old Fond du Lac man was arrested for arson following a fire that happened Tuesday afternoon, Dec. 7.
Fond du Lac police and fire officials were called to a home at 302 N. Macy Street just before 3:15 p.m. and extinguished the fire, but not before it caused extensive damage to the home.

One woman died Monday after a tree fell on an outdoor pavilion outside an apartment complex and trapped her and another woman inside.
