The Monona Police and Fire Departments now have a few extra resources to help them comfort children they encounter in crisis situations.
Madison-based nonprofit REACH-A-Child donated 20 "REACH" bags to the departments.

A man serving time on work release for arson was arrested again in a string of fires that were spotted Monday by Waukesha bus drivers.

A man found guilty of setting a woman on fire in Waukesha in September of 2020, was sentenced Monday, Oct. 25, 2021 to 38 years in prison with another 24 years of extended supervision.

Kewaunee County remains at a "critically high" level for COVID-19 activity, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services, but its number of positive tests for the virus has decreased dramatically over the past week from the record-high numbers seen in late September.
