A Monday afternoon fire destroyed a 98-year-old barn at N101 Highway 59, in the town of Cold Spring, according to a Whitewater Fire Department news release. Estimated loss is $400,000, the release stated. Authorities say there were no survivors after a small plane crashed in Peninsula State Park on Sunday night. Firefighters quickly extinguished a fire on Sunday in a vacant apartment that juveniles fled prior to their arrival. A judge entered a not guilty plea for a woman charged with arson and felony murder in connection with a man found dead after a fire at his home.
