The person who died in Sunday's fire at Embers Apartments in Sheboygan has been identified as 62-year-old Deborah Marsh. Firefighters discovered the body while fighting the fire in one of the apartments, according to the Sheboygan Fire Department. An Eau Claire man was killed in what deputies are calling an industrial accident at Huffcut Concrete in Lake Hallie. The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department says Otto Kolpien, 47, was an employee at the plant. The accident happened just before four Monday afternoon. Sheboygan's fire union made their pitch last night for adding more firefighters to the department. Some local fire departments are finding themselves in a tough situation. Many of the smaller departments are volunteer run and right now there is a shortage of volunteers. The fire department in Germantown said they have been facing the issue for several years as the city continues to grow. A large fire in the Town of Westport is still burning as of 9:30 a.m., but firefighters say the house was slated to be used for a controlled burn anyway. VIDEO: The 2-year-old injured in an apartment fire in Lake Holcombe passed away Saturday night. The Chippewa County Sheriff's Department identified the boy as Anthony N. Harp, son of Sean N. Harp and Amber J. Liebe. Liebe told officials Anthony died at the hospital in Minnesota. A 2-year-old child was airlifted to a Twin Cities hospital after suffering injuries in a fire Thursday morning in the town of Lake Holcombe.
