One person died Monday after a trailer fire in Wood County.
Fire crews responded around 3 p.m. to a trailer on Frey Court that had thick, black smoke coming out of it, according the Marshfield Fire and Rescue Department.

One Fox Valley woman is crediting a retired firefighter for saving her life.
The woman was in one of two duplexes in Appleton’s north side, where a fire broke out last week.

The Palmyra Fire Department responded to a residential fire near County Highway H on Friday morning, Jan. 21.
