The Washington County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fire that took place on Highway 83, just south of Lee Road in Hartford early Saturday, May 20th. A gas leak late Friday night sparked an evacuation of dozens of people at an assisted living home in Oconomowoc. Fire damaged a basement in a single-family home Wednesday night. Ron Blomberg narrowly avoided the devastation Tuesday that claimed the life of his neighbor at Prairie Lake Estates mobile home park. A Kenosha man faces 19 charges, including three arsons, after allegedly stealing property in New Lisbon in the spring of 2015. Arthur E. Sagel, 34, was charged with the alleged crimes on April 25.
