A house fire in Seymour overnight brings a big response. According to the Town of Seymour fire chief, crews were call to a home on Cemetery Road just after 8:30 Tuesday night. It appears the fire started in the garage and spread to the home. 2 adults and 3 children were home, but got out safely. A proposal in the state Legislature would require 911 operators to get training to help callers administer CPR to people who need it. Sauk Prairie Ambulance has a new tool that will help improve an individual’s chance of survival. After receiving approval from the Ambulance Commission, Sauk Prairie Ambulance purchased three new Lifepak 15 monitor/defibrillators – one for each of its fleet. Police said human remains were found inside a house that burned early Friday in Polk County. The St. Croix Falls Police Department said the body of an adult was found in a home at 906 N. Washington St. in St. Croix Falls.
