A Green Bay home caught fire and caused $25,000 worth of damage, on the city's east side, Sunday evening around 5:42. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department says smoke and flames were coming from outside the back part of the home at 1376 Doblon Street. A neighbor who saw smoke coming from the roof of a nearby home and called 911 is credited with minimizing the severity of a fire in the 900 block of Rosemere Circle on Sunday morning. A 16-year-old boy has been hospitalized after falling from a cliff at Rib Mountain quarry. The teenager fell and was injured just before 5:30 p.m. Tuesday, South Area Fire District Captain Tim Stieve said.
