No one was injured after a fire at a single family home on St. George St.
Green Bay Metro Fire Department responded to the fire around 1:53 p.m. Sunday and found a fire in the back of a home and in the attic.
The fire was knocked down within five minutes and no one was inside the home at the time.

The Town of Wheaton in Chippewa County held a public hearing Thursday, Sept. 5 to discuss potentially leaving the Chippewa Fire District.
The fire district currently serves four towns and the Village of Lake Hallie.

Seven people are homeless after an apartment fire Saturday night on Milwaukee's east side.

A family of four escaped unharmed from a house fire in Somers early Thursday.
The Somers Fire Department was called to the home, 908 Sheridan Road, at about 2:08 a.m. When firefighters arrived, the family, including two children, was already out of the house and smoke was pouring from inside.
