Sheboygan County reported the presence of another COVID-19 variant Wednesday, as well as the county's fourth death in the past two weeks.
The person whose death was reported Wednesday was in their 70s, bringing the county's total deaths to 138.

Two people were killed and another was injured in a two-vehicle crash caused at about 7:30 a.m. Tuesday when a turkey hit a car on State Hwy. 56 at Venner Hollow Road in the town of Genoa.

Two lizards and two tortoises were rescued from a house fire Sunday, the Racine Fire Department has reported.
