AFirefighters were called in to help get a derailed Milwaukee streetcar back on track.
The streetcar, known as The Hop, derailed Thursday afternoon on Milwaukee's east side.
The car remained upright and appeared to be just slightly off the track.

A potentially disastrous fire was thwarted by working sprinkler systems late Wednesday night at an apartment building at 221 N. Franklin St., according to Captain John McManus of the Janesville Fire Department.

Nine area fire departments responded to a barn fire late this afternoon.
They were called out just after 4 o’clock to County Road TT in Holmen.

A 12-year-old bulldog named "Tuff" came back to see the firefighters who rescued him.
On Jan. 31, Tuff got stranded on an ice shelf near the Lake Michigan shoreline in South Milwaukee.

Fire officials say two people have been displaced following a residential fire late Tuesday morning.
According to Fire Chief Jake Flaherty, crews were called to a home on Maine Ave. shortly after 11:30 a.m., and were on the scene for about four hours.

A home at 5370 Clarices Circle is a complete loss after a fire Tuesday.
The fire started shortly after 10 a.m. in the garage and spread to the house, said Hull Fire Chief Ken Sadogierski.
