Fond du Lac police say a man who was pulled from the Fond du Lac River after an hour-long search has died.
Fond du Lac Fire/Rescue tells Action 2 News the 37-year-old man was fishing when he saw friends on the other side of the river. A fire burned through the roof of a nursing home in Fox Crossing Thursday afternoon, forcing the evacuation of residents. Residents were safely evacuated to other facilities, including local hospitals. Fox Crossing's fire chief says they were able to act quickly.

An investigation has been opened into a fire at a home near Fort Atkinson Tuesday night.

A man's body was found in a burning garage Tuesday afternoon in Milwaukee.
Firefighters called to the scene of the blaze in the 300 block of East Center Street found the body of a 35-year-old man inside a garage, according to Milwaukee police. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Emergency crews are responding to a report of a fire at an apartment complex in the town of Westport.
