Widespread dense fog, with visibilities around a quarter of a mile
or less, was reported across Door County and southern sections of
Oconto and Marinette counties, where a Dense Fog Advisory remains
in effect until 7 am Tuesday morning.
Over the remainder of the region, patchy dense fog was noted
across north-central and portions of northeast Wisconsin.
Visibilities in the patchy fog was down to around one quarter of a
mile. Latest surface observations, satellite, and model data
suggest the fog will continue to expand southward overnight into
central and east-central Wisconsin. Motorists should anticipate
rapidly changing and poor visibilities through the night as the
fog spreads southward.
If you have travel plans, slow down and allow extra time to reach
your destination. Allow extra room between you and the car in
front of you and use your low beam headlights.

Patchy fog has formed over portions of far northern Wisconsin
early today. The fog may be locally dense, with visibility less
than one-half mile at times. The fog will quickly lift after 8 am
this morning.
Motorists should be prepared for rapidly changing and poor
visibilities at times. When driving in fog, remember to slow down,
turn on your low-beam headlights, and maintain a safe distance
between you and the car in front of you.

Fog has formed as the rain from last evening has ended. Expect
areas of dense fog, with visibility less than one-half mile
at times, early this morning. If the fog becomes more widespread
and persistent, a Dense Fog Advisory may eventually be issued.
Motorists traveling across north-central Wisconsin early this
morning should expect locally hazardous travel conditions, with
rapidly changing and poor visibilities at times. When driving in
fog, remember to slow down, turn on your low-beam headlights, and
keep a safe distance between you and the car in front of you.
